Tarde No Parque

Tarde No Parque

Árvore rio
melodia tênue
Verde grama de trás
riacho.

Sobrando latente
eu, pulsando.
Deitada.
Sem vestes.
De boca aberta.
Pra deixar que os insectos
entrem e habitem.

Afternoon in the park

River tree
slight melody
Green grass behind the stream.

Staying dormant
I'm, throbbing
Lying.
Without clothes.
With open mouth.
To leave the insects
that enter and inhabit.

Há Coisas Que Não Cabem Mais

Há coisas que não cabem mais
nem quando a sal está vazia
nem quando a estante está vaga

náo cabe parece o verde no amarelo
o ar pesado, o tránsito
e o correr do asfalto
quando se vai à praia
Não cabe a fruta na fruteira
nem a fruteira fica bem na mesa
parece que não cabe mais

Mas a gente faz caber, aperta, manda, empurra.
Mas há coisas que não cabem mais
quando algo mudou.

Há Coisas Que Não Cabem Mais

There are things that don't fit anymore
nor when the room is empty
nor when the bookcase is empty

doesn't fit to seem the green in the yellow
The heavy air, the passage
and the run on the asphault
when you go to the beach.
Doesn't fit the fruit on the fruit tree
nor the fruit that stays well on the table
seems that doesn't fit anymore

But the people make it fit, to clasp, to order, to push
But there are things that don't fit anymore
when something moved.

Navegantes

Navegantes

As mãos do rio
te carregam para outro lado
onde o vento toma a cidade
e os peixes devem fazer ciranda-cirandinha

não há lareira, nem lanches, nem piscinas
mas há a mãe dos navegantes, e a vida besta
de falar dos outros,
de não falar consigo.
Um espaço, duas casas
dois espaços
duas casas
naveguei em Navegantes

as mãos do rio te levam a enxergar:
em Navegantes tudo continua igual,
até o rio de um lado
e o mar de outro
que quase nem se encontram

Navigators

The hands of the river
Carry you to the other side
Where the wind takes the city
and the fishes should make a circle game

There isn't a fireplace, no snacks, no swimming pools
but there is the hand of the navigator, and the insignifigant life
to speak of the others,
of not speaking to with him.
A space two houses
two spaces
two houses
sailing by Navigators

The hands of the river take you to catch sight of
by Navigators all continues equal,
Until the river of a side
and the sea of the other
that almost don't meet

Hippies Em Itajaí

Hippies Em Itajaí

Fogem com os olhos
como se fossem bandidos
e encaram-nos ironia ou não,
como bichos
Nem tanto grilos
nem verde, nem sorte
Tomam poesia em gargalo
e improviso em artesenato
esquecem-se que assim quanto racionais
somos todos selvagens
mosquitos ou abelhas
picamos
sendo um deles ou não

Também encostamos no Açu
e admiramos as calçadas
com as nádegas
E que também fugimos do olhar
De outros animais

Hippies in Itajaí

They avoid eye contact
Like they were bandits
And considered us ironic or not
Like animals
Not so much like grasshoppers
None green and none lucky
They take poems from the bottle
and improvise in arts and crafts
They forget how much we rationalize
We are all savages
Mosquitos or bees
We Sting
Being one of them or not

As well we find in the Açu
and we admire the jeans
filled with a nice ass
and as well we hide our eyes
like the other animals

Cidade-Rio

Cidade-Rio

Onze horas da manhã
sol ferve a cidade-rio.
Dois garis deitam-se na única sombra
assistem dezenas de libélulas
desenhando toda a grama verde
em vôos planos.

Viver é muito mais do que abrir os olhos.

City-Rio

11 o'clock in the morning
Sun boils the city-rio.
Two Streetsweepers go to sleep in a single shaded area
They watch scores of dragonflies
Outlining all the green grass
In smooth flights.

To live is very much to open the eyes.

Deus

Deus

Ás vezes eu te vejo
Nos candelabros acesos
Ás vezes eu te vejo
Na poeira dos meus livros

Ás vezes, você esquece de me acenar.

God

At times I see you
In the lit candelabras
At times I see you
In the dust of my books

At times, you forget to wave to me.
